Hey saturday blogging peeps.

My first saturday post ever! woohoo! Today I had a lil bit of a Dr Seuss thing going on. Now I feel a bit guilty about this because I was by no means a Dr Seuss kid, like at all. To be honest I found the illustrations totally creepy... I still do a bit. Especially the fish, why on earth do they look like mammals!? But I love the rhymes. And I loved visiting Dr Seuss world in Florida so I think I'm converting... it's just those fish.

I love these guys. I loved them before I knew what they were. In fact before I even knew they were a thing I bought a thing 1 t shirt. So when I discovered that they had blue hair. I was sold. I think this is what sparked my interest. This is the amazing Seuss inspired collection by the amazing Robert Kaufman, fabric designer extraordinaire. I love love love this collection and there is plenty more to see than this. They are available all over etsy, mainly in fat quarters but yardage is available. Its items like this that just make me want to have a daughter to wrap up in brightly coloured fabric!
